Could Las Terrenas be our New Home?

Living in alignment means to never compromise your values, character or energy for anything. We’ve realized that living in the United States does not align with who we are, who we want to be and how we want to live. This past January, I made the decision to resign from my job after 8 years with the company and 16 years in the industry. It no longer aligned with who I’ve become. Even though I left a six figure job, money will never equate to the value of my energy.
We’re tired of the rat race of living in America. The ideology of working our ass off for 40+ hours a week just to maintain. Working for the majority of our years only to finally retire and enjoy a short period of our lives. That is not alignment, that is prison. Some people think we’re crazy for considering what is labeled as as third-world country, but after spending time in the Dominican Republic, we think people are crazy for not giving it a proper consideration.
